The Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics officially got under way last night with an opening ceremony which in many ways reminded me of the 2004 Athens Olympics which remain at the top of my best Olympics ceremony list. It was good stuff, full of clues/omens, and I was able to do most of the decoding within hours of the latest super torch ritual.
