End of Time: Cassini’s Grand Finale

Cassini‘s “Grand Finale” on September 15th was something of a “nuclear event” marking the end/edge of time.

Cassini is powered by plutonium-238. It’s plunging into the atmosphere of Saturn, the planet/god of time, coinciding with a terrorist bombing in London where Earth’s time is anchored (Greenwich at longitude zero).

For additional context, we have 2010: The Year We Make Contact in which a swarm of Monoliths plunge into Jupiter, triggering a nuclear chain reaction and turning the planet into a second sun called “Lucifer” (in the novel version).
In early drafts the planet was actually Saturn. It was only after the special effects team was unable to produce a convincing rendition of Saturn’s rings that they picked Jupiter as the destination in 2001: A Space Odyssey and subsequently in 2010: The Year We Make Contact.
The name “Lucifer” ties into the so-called “Lucifer Project“, a fairly popular conspiracy theory that claims NASA’s Galileo mission – plunging into Jupiter on September 21, 2003 – was secretly intended to ignite the gas giant with its nuclear fuel. That of course did not materialize. Not to be deterred, the same idea was applied to Cassini and Saturn, what’s unfolding right now.

No chance of it literally happening, of course. But the implied nuclear-Saturn-Lucifer combination is noteworthy and real enough in terms of symbolism and multicontextual patterns.
For example, it heavily resonates with what was happening early April this year when Venus was being reborn as Lucifer (= meaning “morning star”) while simultaneously a “Lucifer Alignment” was in effect.
I use the name “Lucifer Alignment” for this as the combination of the Sun, Venus/Lucifer and Jupiter evokes the 2010 scenario of Jupiter turning into a second sun Lucifer. Here it was particularly fitting with the addition of the “nuclear explosion” aspect expressed through simultaneous world events early April with the idea of “countdown to nuclear showdown”.

Already aware of the aforementioned multicontextual connections, I made some prognostications back then writing:
Chances are, we are probably looking at an intense “as above, so below” situation there, i.e. we may well be dealing with an earthly nuclear event in the near future. Could easily involve North Korea and such. And when/if it happens, it will end up temporally highly entangled with the Cassini “Project Lucifer”/Grand Finale event.
Sure enough, on the eve of Cassini’s Grand Finale this breaking news from North Korea (where it was already September 15):

North Korea’s Kim Jong-un, let me remind you, is a Lucifer figure as his mother reportedly called him the “Morning Star King”.
These things coming on the day analogous to the “edge of time” – crossing the time threshold – is certainly ominous and portends (nuclear) things to come.
