Needless to say, the upcoming ~December 9 window is very much part of the ongoing Stargate theme as CERN's LHC is the closest publicly known machine to a "stargate". And if you look at the ATLAS detector (of LHC) where Earth will be on ~Dec 9th... you can't help but think "stargate".
