Whopping FIVE rocket launches possible on Wednesday (Dec 19): 1) Blue Origin, NewShepard, 2) SpaceX, GPSIII, 3) ISRO, GSAT-7A, 4) Arianespace, Soyuz CSO-1, and 5) ULA, NROL-71!
UPDATE (Dec 19): 2 down, 2 postponed, 2 more to go. India’s ISRO-GSAT-7A and Europe’s Arianespace-CSO-1 have successfully launched today and ULA-NROL-71 is still counting down to a 8:44 pm EST (0144 GMT) liftoff, while SpaceX and Blue Origin have postponed their launches. The return of astronauts from the ISS scheduled for later today is presumably still on track to cap off an unusually busy space day.
